Embargo in Chad on Export Air Freight

Air France Cargo has put an embargo in place that applies to all air freight exports leaving N'Djamena airport via this carrier.

A special dispensation has been granded to merchandise that meets the following conditiona:

  • Diplomatic shipments that are X-ray scanned;
  • Jet A1 Samples with the sender's declaration duty filled in;
  • Postal shipments

As a result, no air shipments containing household goods can currently leave Chad via Air France. Other companies offering air freight export services from N'Djamena are operating as normal.
