Included in this service are the blankets and other protective materials needed to safely store the shipment. These protective materials are offered at an additional cost in a self storage program.

We maintain modern warehouse facilities in Union City, Sacramento and Los Angeles, which are near major road, sea and air shipping lanes for easy access and transport. Our facilities are well built structures and are well equipped, and are monitored 24/7 by state-of-the-art security systems. In addition to our California facilities, Crown manages storage in over 750 storage facilities around the world and ensures that all shipments into storage are protected by meticulous recordkeeping, 24-hour security and fire systems and regular pest control. Our state-of-the-art computer system allows instant 24-hour tracking and provides detailed reports of the goods stored at any Crown facility worldwide.

Short-term storage, as required, when one settles into a new area is available and convenient to arrange. Storage for household goods is handled with the use of large storage vaults designed to reduce the amount of handling in the warehouse operation. The entire loaded vault is transported to residence in specialized trailers to further reduce the need to re-handle the shipment as it is delivered.
